This place is absolutely mind-blowing! It's a real castle and staying here is an experience in itself. The lack of cooling system is actually a positive as it preserves the authenticity of the beautiful walls. The garden is perfect for enjoying breakfast and dinner, which by the way, is gourmet cuisine at its finest. The swimming pool and river view are picture-perfect and I can't wait to come back with my children, who I know will love it just as much as I did.

We had a magical experience dining under the stars at this unique property. The open-air setting in the ancient castle was truly enchanting, enhanced by the beautiful lighting as the sky darkened. The food was superb, and the service efficient and friendly. It was a lovely and unforgettable experience.

I loved staying in the top of the tower in the castle, with a four- poster bed. There was even a window like where Rapunzel let her hair down. I felt like I was in a Shakespear movie! It was nicely updated with all the comforts of a luxury hotel, though. The restaurant in the castle was fantastic too, and also made one feel like royalty. The hotel owners were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this very romantic experience!

For the value we paid, our stay at this charming castle hotel was truly worth every penny. The room was lovely and filled with thoughtful extras, making us feel like royalty. The location was perfect, with beautiful walks by the river and a refreshing pool to cool off in. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.

Helpfull and pleasent staff always available. Clean room but a bit on the small side. An excellant stay for a few days.

Wonderful hotel with nice staff and I appreciated marvellous location. The restaurant was nice with good food and extensive wine list here, I had wonderful dishes. Stay here was REALLY GREAT, I did not want to leave.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this charming chateau. The hotel's decor exudes elegance and captures the essence of its rich history. The general areas, such as the courtyard and gardens, were beautifully maintained and provided a tranquil atmosphere to relax and unwind. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. However, it is worth noting that the second-floor rooms can be reached only by a staircase, so it's advisable to request a first-floor room for ease of access.

If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be to have mini-bars available in the rooms. This would make it more convenient to have refreshments readily accessible without having to navigate the staircase.

The weather was warm, had really nice stay during recent visit to Europe. The personnel was excellant and expert as expected. The breakfast was excellent with pastries and yoghurt, for example, perfect to start our day.

The hotel was located in a prime spot for exploring the nearby Cathar chateaus and other attractions. The staff was very attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. the breakfast served at the hotel was delicious and offered a wide variety of options to choose from.

Our room was quite noisy, and we could hear everything happening in the adjacent room. The doors were also very creaky, which added to the noise disturbance.

If you are a castle enthusiast or are looking for something a little different this is ok. The food and the service from the staff was extremely good.

No lifts, so either travel light or be prepared to manouvre suit cases up and down spiral stair steps. The was no airconditioning (Junior suite) and small bathroom with shower over the bath.
